I'd say it was 60/40 production/pleasure...p is nice though and he could actually sing, never understood what happened to his solo career...his first album was pretty good and singles that charted well plus he got pub from dating the older Murphy daughter...even got nominated for multiple Grammy's but he just fell off the map..
