Is there a good third party controller?

Plan on getting the Switch 2 later this year and will only play docked…so looking to get a controller. But I am simply NOT paying $90 for a basic ass controller.

You could honestly buy an adapter and use a dualsense or xbox controller

I'd pay $90 for a PS5 controller that lasted 40 hours instead of 6. I paid whatever the price was for the Switch 2 Pro controller when it launched and I don't regret it.

Meh you can get dualsense on sale for 40 bucks these days. I got like 4 of them. I don’t even think. About battery life snymore

Even I rarely play a game non stop for over 6 hours these days anyway

The Xbox and ps5 come with standard adult controllers. The horror of having to eventually charge it

The Pro controller is like my Kindle. I charge it once or twice a month. I appreciate that because I'm not a fan of having to charge electronics.

I only use the premium controllers so my PS5 controller barely gets 6 hours. I haven't touched the regular PS5 controller since the Edge came out.

My fourth grade nephew said he doesn't even want one until better games come out. Legit said donkey Kong looks like a fake Mario game, and "the only Mario game is kart worldwide, and you have to stop and get gas and stuff in that"

I don't think they have a killer app for kids and casuals yet, to support the increase in cost. He's still fukkin with switch 1, and dug up KIRBY recently and loves that.

Edit: wait the increase for switch ONE? well, that's a choice for an old console
