Um....Tidal is literally the exact same price as Spotify, what are you talking about? I have the free trials of both of them right now. At no point was Tidal ever more expensive than Spotify. They even have the same family plan. Why are you all so happy about Tidal's supposed loss? I thought that hating shyt was over until I saw Nippsey Hussle talking about it on Twitter a couple of days ago.

Um....Tidal offers FLAC quality if you're an audiophile, has 75,000+ music videos (which Apple copied and Spotify is about to add), gives away free tickets all the time and streams live concerts. Spotify is superior to Tidal in that it runs smoother and crashes less as it has been at this for like 9 years. It also has more playlists and it's UI is a little better. That's about it. But that's whatever. The notion that minority groups should not try to prop up businesses run by their own, and to empower themselves is stupid. It is literally how every minority group in this country has ever achieved economic success. You basically outed yourself as an out of touch white person with that one.

Tidal offers literally no advantage over Spotify other than Reasonable Doubt and a Prince album. Supporting an inferior and more expensive product because a black guy is an owner of it is racist. Imagine if some white guy said he was going with Spotify just because white dudes own it. You'd have a hashtag ready to go in minutes

It's not racist considering the situation in this country where whites have historically held all the wealth and power and continue to do so. Supporting black businesses in order to level the playing field should be promoted but when the opportunity arises people turn away.

None of these corps give a fukk about the black audience, Tidal included. It's all about money. Folks are giving them shyt because their competitors are either already established or have a synergistic connection with their media player. I'm not caping for none.

Man look at all the black jobs Jay Z created with tidal...

Luck at all of that black excellence in the room...

We made it yall...look at the next generation of black entrepreneurs yall
