"Rappers always bragging about how tough they are based on the fact that they shoot, rob, kill, and beat up other nikkas for small reasons, sometimes for no reason. Meanwhile the record company executives who rob them blind and fukk them over never are shown this same courtesy. Easy to claim someone is a gangster or real for not being afraid to let his hands or guns loose, but you look funny in the light when you don't direct that same aggression to the real enemy, the oppressor, the industry jews who rape you.
Prince the only artist to my knowledge on a large scale to actually go to war with the record industry. Besides the fact that he is probably the most musically gifted individual to ever exist, he was a solid businessman and wasn't about to bend down for the industry dikkheads. He eventually got ownership over all his shyt and made it that none of his shyt was available easily without buying it.
I signed up for TIDAL just based on the fact that Prince fukked with it. If Prince messes with TIDAL, then you know it's legit in paying it's artists. Cause Prince doesn't play games when it comes to that. He's not no uneducated nikka in that aspect. It still kills me how so called urban music heads aren't on TIDAL either. Same people who call Birdman trash for not paying his artists. Now it's our turn to have a hand in how artists get paid properly through streams and some of us dikkheads still side with Apple which pays artists the least out of all streaming companies.
Back to the topic though, rappers, singers, etc... need to look at Prince's war with Warner Bros and take notes, and use it as an inspiration. Stop beefing with your fellow brothers who are just oppressed as you (economically or business wise) and aim the aggression to the real enemy. Stop signing these slave deals. Stop giving up life for a gold chain. Build your own shyt.
I remember that Prince ebony interview where they asked Him about Birdman and Wayne's beef and his reply was basically "shyt is stupid. we're not supposed to be fighting right now. hip hop is supposed to be united. gotta stick together and tackle the real enemy."
