1999 is classic from to start to finish and Purple Rain is a masterpiece.

if I had to pick a favorite Prince era, it'd be Sign O' The Times

Sign O The Times is the album that I listen to the most. I love the songwriting, the production, the combination of sounds for the production, the videos etc

Can't go wrong with SOT. But picking up the 1999 and Purple Rain special additions there is so much great music that just added to those eras. Moonbeam Levels became one my favorite Prince songs the first time I heard it, lol. But SOT special edition also great.
