thats true...but no one was expecting drake to come freestyling off the top. but damn...at least have a verse memorized or somethin. tht would'v been waaaaay more acceptable than what he (and troy ave) did. im just pointing how the goal posts shift when a certain artist isn't as favored as the others.

Reminds me of the Twista thread....dude said he had 2-3 songs towards the end of his career ghost written, more or less for fun....."oh, it's the same as Drake"....nevermind Drake had ghostwriters on his very first mix tape.

If people don't care about ghostwriters or reference tracks but the same people that claim it don't matter will come up with the most bizarre comparisons to justify it. It either matters, or it don't.

no, the situation is still the same. The circumstances around them may be different. But I'm saying why is OK to be selective for some rappers and not others.

I ain't stannin for Drake, and check my history, I NEVER have stanned for drake, IMO this isn't about Drake.
Its about fairness.

The over "stanning" and over "hating" in the Booth is just nonsense.

Many many rappers in current day and in history have used writers to help with their music. full credited writers. Not ghostwriters, no one was hiding the fact that the writers were in the credits.
