Alc is such an influential guy to me, i might have started off taking cues from guys like dj krush, but without a doubt Alc is probably my biggest influence in the idea that anything and everything must be mined.

Random bit of info on this beat. Alchemist left the ASR-10 for the MPC around 2006 or so.

Evidence and Alchemist had been listening to Jake One's White Van Music album and Evidence convinced Alchemist to pull out the ASR-10 again to make a beat with it. The Red Carpet is the beat that Alchemist made.

Red Carpet is easily one of Alchemist's best beats to me.
