After listening to 2 of Prodigy's best solo albums intensely, I have concluded that Prodigy was lyrically better on HINC 1 and the beats slightly edge ALBERT EINSTEIN.

Before some of yall try to jump and yell or scream, lets be clear that I am a HUGE fan of P and own almost every Mobb Deep album.

I very much enjoyed the Albert album and in my opinion this is P's second best solo effort but yall know lyrically P was dope on HNIC and started to decline after the release of this classic joint. Yeah, that's right HNIC is classic.

With Albert Einstein there are not as many standout joints as HNIC. C'mon joints like Keep It Through, Three, and HNIC all stand out, while most of the joints on Albert mesh together, which is a positive thing. Songs like Bear Meat and Bible paper stand out. By the way, Bear Meat is vintage Prodigy. I can see Havoc producing that beat yo.

Yall know yall don't get the same feeling and rush when u listen to Albert as you do with HNIC. Albert is a rebirth of P's lyrical form but not yet to the level of being amazed or wow'd to a sense of wanted to jump up and merk a fool as you get with previous Prodigy and Mobb Deep efforts.

Well. I won't rate the albums right now cause some of yall are gonna jump scream and plead about my rating.

Naw fucck it :lift:
HNIC - 5 MICS
ALBERT EINSTEIN - 4.5 MICS

Albert Einstein is a good "he still has it" moment

HNIC is when he had it all though

i refuse to conform
I'm all over, me and my dogs enjoy this
We pop bottles, celebrate your death blow a kiss
at your wittle bytch, wish pain on your kids
Piss on your casket kick ya tombstone and shyt, dog
And I ain't even that foul type a dude
But all's fair in love and war it's whatcha hand called for
Now ya mans wanna ride for your cause
But fukk it, they could get it too, simple as you
And I be God-damned if they put they hands on me
Money brings power and puts guns in parties
Sends nikkaz on Amtrak with those for your body
It pays for thirty plane tickets if we got beef, huh

prodigy rhymes really fell off after infamy everything else after that was wack.

I agree with everything except I dunno how you didn't mention Genesis, to me that the illest P solo song ever, that beat is the epitome of grimey dirty haunting NY sound and P's flow was immaculate.

This a serious thread? :childplease:

P was still an upper echelon rapper when he dropped HNIC. He isn't even close to that anymore.

I pretty much agree with everything you said.

AE is pure heat and a cohesive joint. Its gotten even better for me personally since it came out. I originally thought it was a 4 but i would say its a 4.5 now ...

...but HNIC cannot be touched. As much as i f*cks with P, he can't ever get back to that. It is a certified classic.

I dont see how this could even be debatable....

but you have to remember we DID live to see a time where the "best shyt ever" is always either the shyt that was dropped first or the last shyt that dropped.

HNIC>>Albert Einstein. How could it NOT be?
