I even like the Beastie Boys & Young Jeezy albums that year more than Undun.

I haven't heard most of these albums. He'll, I haven't heard of a few of the artists.

I agree that Saigon's album was better. That was AOTY for me.
Danny Brown I listened once, didn't feel the production and had no incentive to listen again. He can rhyme though.

Raekwon got a lot of play in my car that year. I really enjoyed that album. I'd still put Undun ahead of it. But not by much.

Random Axe i listened to once or twice and thought it was mediocre.

Never got around to listening to the whole Krit.

Listened to Bronson in 2012. That album was nice and he's very talented, especially on that album. But it drags at points. Undun is better IMO.

I liked Reks album a lot. Still put Undun over it.

Lighthouse may have been song of the year for me. And the joint with Krit was crazy. The song with Phonte was amazing to, as well as the album opener. Black Thought is sorely underrated.

I think AE is great for the most part . But when P comes through with lines like:
"The world’s most hottest rapper spitting flames like a volcano"

I literally wince in pain .

You just named the 4 good songs. No mention of slow, boring rest?

How I Got Over was Top 5 in 2010. I might even put Game Theory as one of the best in 06 as well

But to stay on topic, so far AE is still my favorite this year. Im loving the new Jay but I dont see it staying rotation as long as AE

I Remember never moved me. Stomp I'm on the fence about. Neither is wack. The other 7 songs is fire. No love for Tip The Scale? Dice Raw bodied that. The dude on Kool On also came off. And the four "good" songs are amazing.

you're amazed by some pretty dreary stuff. i have a friend who's a$$hole buddies with Tarik and thus a default Roots stan and even he told them that album was snoozy.

AE is the best album of the year. Prodigy killed this entire album. Anyone who says P was coasting on this album didn't really listen to it. The writing on "Confessions" alone is more powerful than anything on Yeezus or MCHG.

Beats are better on AE, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but Jay sounds lazier than Prodigy lyrically in 2013, therefore AE is the better album.

1. Albert Einstein
2. ASAP
3. wiz & curren$y
4. MC Eiht "Keep it hood"
5. durag dynasty

Actually haven't been feeling whole albums much this year. More like individual songs and mixtapes.

Yeah I think it is a wash lyrically they both have limited subject matter and P stepped it up enough to match Jay energy and lyrics wise. Therefore, I got to go with AE because of the superior production.

Right now, I'm torn between that and MCHG. I think I'm leaning toward MCHG, but it's still so fresh.
