EDM is a pay to play genre....WAY more than any other genre.

Those "white" Dj's you address are the ones that are paying to play the game.

If you haven't recognized this by now, but music isn't about talent anymore.

long gone is it true that the ppl with the most talent get put on.

OP is dude in the video..
:yeshrug:

Op is salty that he's not getting put on. Sounds like many other DJ's and rappers I know that complain about rappers and DJ's with less talent that get put on through their connections and money while they feel that they should be getting more attention and praise (without having to spend money).

the game now is pay to play. You either paying or you are watching and complaining.

I didn't make the game, but I've been in long enough to see it. And it has gone completely that way.
NO ONE is gonne help anyone out or put anyone else on without getting paid.

deal with it. or don't

How many black EDM producers are really around, though? Everywhere I go, it's mostly white kids from Europe that dominate the scene. It makes sense because in Europe, the electronic scene is HUGE. Still though, how many EDM artists that are black do you actually see? I haven't seen a single one. Most black producers are in the Hip Hop Trap lane, since that's the most profitable and that's where their influences come from. If there were a bunch of black EDM producers, and they were getting shafted left and right, I can see the issue, but... right now, I don't think there is one.
