Don't think it means much. New ownership was terrible. Seems like they bought it as a quick money grab but they had no idea what they were doing. I think they'll end up getting bought out by a company who actually gives a shyt. NI's footprint in the industry is too strong to go away. Somebody will definitely step up to take over.

Seems like this is more about restructuring the debt they accrued from purchases they made recently. Not really about their products failing. They still bring in like 80-100 million annually. So I see zero chance they go under. If anything this is prolly a positive sign. Their customer service and product development have been horrible the past few years. I think it was time for a change.

I am comfortable and I love you
The standalone Maschine didn't do what it was supposed to and couldn't keep up with other offerings on the market. I used Maschine MK2 and MK3 for a long time and the standalone is too expensive for what it offers. They also lost their way when it came to the DJ market. They abandoned their flagship mixer the Z2, and never came out with an update. It's the best sub $1000 mixer I've ever used. Had they updated it, I would've never switched back to Serato.

I think they got caught up in their sound design/plug in business and thought they could coast with subpar hardware offerings.
