He was fukking with the status quo and power players money and influence, so he had to go. It's the #1 problem that Progressives are going to run into.

Create the problem or willingly allow one grow and fester to only then come in and save the day with a solution to the problem you knew existed all along. That's usually how it works with these type of situations when the Feds eventually get involved.
This. Ive stopped getting upset with progressives for this reason. There literally has to be an upheaval amongst the population to change things or else well intentioned folks get put into positions, told “good luck,” and get stonewalled by the establishment when they say or do anything outside of what is expected. This man might have had peoples showing up to his house after he took the job and had no one to support him.
If you won't fall in line with the establishment and status quo, then the next man will. He wasn't willing to play the game and do the bidding, so they will replace him with someone else who will.
A lot of people come into those type of positions with sincere intentions and wanting change until they realize what they're up against and that they are fighting a losing battle.
