A few weeks ago claaa7 posted on here about trying to put together a version of Cuban Linx II that was as close to the album might have sounded had it been released in 2006 as it was originally supposed to.

Since then I've collaborated with him a little on my own version of the same idea, and since he's planning on doing a blog post about it I'll leave the in-depth info about the tracks to him. But put simply, I've only included tracks that were confirmed around that 2006-2007 era.

I'll include the tracklist below, plus the album cover, plus a link to both the album and to Thug World since I know some people might just want that.

Also one last thing, I'd love to have somewhere where I could host this project and others like it, since I'm not too fond of getting a blog going. So if anyone has any ideas that'd be great. Any help is appreciated.
And enjoy!

RZA, Dre, Scram Jones, Dilla and Justice (for We Will Rob You aka Kareem Khan) were announced as having songs on the album around 2006. So all the Dilla joints are kept in this version, all the Scram joints bar Never Used To Matter are used, including Walk With Me which was originally a bonus track. Also an article from that time had RZA mentioning that one of the tracks resembles Ghostface's Run and being that they both feature Jadakiss and to my ear sound similar, that provides further justification for Broken Safety aka 40 Deuce to be included. Dre's tracks were left off because they really don't fit the tone of the rest of the album, although I'm sure they're both from this 2006-2007 period. And the Justice track was confirmed by itself.

Baggage Handlers and State of Grace were originally street singles for CLII so they're included plus they fit in sonically with the rest of the tracks.

The 2 True Master tracks are included since White Cloud Olympus had been mentioned as a CLII track from this era, so it's not a stretch to believe that Batman & Robin was recorded around the same time.

Pete Rock's Sonny's Missing was included since the same beat was used on his album, so Rae would have had the beat from before at least February 2008 otherwise Pete wouldn't had used it on his own album, and he's said as much himself.

Rockstars had been mentioned around the 2006 era so it's included.

The 8 Diagrams tracks I've included were all slated to appear on CLII at some point around the 2006 era. You Can't Stop Me Now is the European version with U'God's verse, Weak Spot is the mixtape version, and Sunshine is just the regular version.

Thug World however, is the original mixtape version, plus with some help from Rusty Wu-Chain here, who helped get a really good acapella from Execution in Autumn, I've managed to put together a version of Thug World with Rae and U-God's original verses as well as having them on beat. The Execution in Autumn verses were taken from the original Thug World recording session. Note: This is different to the Thug World that Rusty Wu-Chain posted last week.
