I got out of public education b/c it led to me becoming extremely depressed over shyt like this. I used to go home every night, eat-drink alcohol-and cry myself to sleep. I've had posters come at me for my hate of pimp and hoe culture. They even intimated that I must have been a hoe myself since I was going so hard at them.
Luckily I was blessed growing up and never molested or abused but what they don't realize is how young our children are victimized by this shyt. In a lot of the cases we saw, the mothers WERE the pimps. Or sold their kids and it's even worse with adopted blk children. My homegirl literally fosters a young 13 year old black girl who was adopted by a wealthy white family. She tried to burn their house down but was found to have severe trauma between her legs. She said her parents would give her to people.
Or you had blk male pimps who would recruit young middle school girls with shyt as simple as food or school materials.
We like to charge a lotta shyt to the game to separate ourselves from the reality but our children deserve better.
Some of the shyt I've seen makes me want to never have kids. Students infested with bedbugs, students with stds. Even little elementary school students used as human toilets. Hell to me it's not even a race thing b/c some of the worse cases of abuse I saw were white families. Children need protection and predators come in all shapes and sizes and genders.

And ill agree, you can make an argument that sexual abuse against ALL males is extremely ignored because the power dynamic isn't as drastic. But that doesn't make it any less tragic, especially in lower income communities where victims have no outlet or support for their abuse. Especially boys, because they have to be "tough" to survive.
With all that said, we cannot devolve and become even more divided. Plugging your ears and yelling " well y'all are fukked up too!!" at Black Women is fukking retarded and solves nothing.
Quite frankly, it makes me shake my head in disgust at a lot of you. As MEN, we are supposed to be leaders and problem solvers. In your daily life, do you sit around and point fingers at your partner/spouse/coworkers/employees? Do you refuse to hear these same people out when they have grievances? Or do you realize that progress cannot be made until we address the core problems and come to as common a solution as possible?
The dysfunction in the Black Community has less to do with the failings of a certain gender and more to do with the limited socioeconomic power and scarce resources. The best way to overcome that is the unity of the nuclear family unit.
Until we become better partners to one another, we will keep failing.

1. YOU may not be addressing this in response to the VSB article. But its clear from the several dozen threads on here in the past two weeks that nikkas still call themselves butthurt.
2. When dealing with solving relationship problems, you have to go to the table willing to hear the other party out. From my standpoint, especially observing how alot of us are still reacting to the VSB article, that isn't occurring. For as needed as this thread was, for as much as the content needed to be heard, there is still an undeniable tone of petty whatboutism to Black Women in it. We need to be better.
3. I go back to my previous point. This thread couldve been made without the sniping at Black Women.
And here's the thing, we live in a patriarchal society. For as much as some of the problems within the Black Community are the fault of men and women, Black MEN have the greatest capacity to solve it. Men in our global society will always have the capacity to wield far more power, influence and wealth than Women. So in that regard, I feel we should take on more of the load.
Funny thing is, a lot of you nikkas will unknowingly echo this statement by implying that Black Women by themselves cannot hold a house/the community together.

Black boys molested by men isn't really spoken upon the way it should be. It's usually by a male family member or someone in the church.
BUT black boys being molested by black women is really NOT spoken on. It happens quite often and in return gives black boys an outlook on our women that puts them at risk for ineffective relationships with our women when they become men.
