PS3 can't play any blu-rays.

Tried games and blu-ray dvds. Don't work. It works for regular DVD's however. What's going on?
Edit: Yeah, I should have put the blu-ray lens ain't working correctly, is there any home remedies to fix the lens brehs?

Looks like the Blu-ray drive needs to be replaced.

Does it make a weird clicking sound when you put in a disc? Your blu ray lens is probably about to go, but try to lift up the ps3 as you insert the blu ray disc for a few seconds. Same thing happened to my 2nd PS3 slim but it still works decently when I use this method. Good luck.

mine makes the click when u put in a disc sometimes as well. the lift up on an angle method works really well. I did take it apart and clean the lense and reset the drive, and it's been working much better. I just don't wanna spend $70 on a fukking blu ray drive tho. I wish I could put the blu ray player from my fat ps3 into the slim, but that ain't gonna work.

dude, its pretty easy. I have disassembled both the fat and slim PS3, and the fat PS3 was MUCH MUCH more difficult to disassemble than the slim. there are like a million youtube videos with step by step instructions for how to take the drive out of your PS3. I had never done it before, but it was suprisingly easy. I thought I broke my blu ray drive when I was messing with it the first time, but the problem was I forgot to put some of the parts back in when I re assembled it. once I did that, it was working again. If you have to replace the blu ray drive, there's a chip on the old drive that you have to swap out to the new drive for it to work on ur PS3. but like I said there are plenty of tutorials that show you how to do this.
