ps4 and xbone look no different from ps3 and 360

Seriously tho, when ps3 and 360 came out they came out with some stunning games off the bat to differentiate themselves from the previous generation. but looking at these games on the new consoles I honestly cant tell which ones are 360 and xbone or ps4 and ps3. They all look the same. Same shooters, graphics, kinect, eye. Nothing really standing out.

I get the feeling these consoles will experience the same fate as wiiu. There's no reason why anyone should buy them now. 399 or 499

Its kinda true... Everybody arguing about all these little details when at the end of the day besides the consoles being "new" and having new features I don't see the gameplay really taking it to the next level...

But as far as Graphics go, I saw that Assasians Creed commericial last night and

shyt was beautiful, but I'm sorry great graphics don't make the the gameplay better and most of those commericials just give you graphics from cut scenes and not the real gameplay

It's going to take a year at least to showcase what they can do. That's why there is no rush to get either at launch other than to say you did. When U4 drops on the PS4 is when I will get it.

Battlefield 4 and the division looked ridiculous current gen systems are not capable of that, plus the scale of those games with everything capable of having so much more detail, you'll see a big differene. Even though the systems are similar in architecture in pc, they dont operate exactly the same. So you could get more out of these systems than you could with a pc with similar specs once the architecture is perfected. As of now though, the biggest difference will be the sheer amount of stuff on screen as opposed to last gen.

The specs for both systems aint even close to what a top end PC can currently achieve so how good can graphics even look next gen...it aint gonna be a big jump at least not for years.

Consoles dont need top end specs to deliver very good graphics. The new systems are around 10x more powerful than these dusty systems we have now that have small draw distances because of the anemic (512 MB vs 8GB today) ram..

Last of Us and Uncharted is about as good as current gen can muster. And thats as 30fps at less than 720p

If you think those look anything close to what the One or PS4 are showing you're blind. The jump this generation simply wasn't going to be that big, but the games look MUCH MUCH better and you have to see them in motion for them to really shine.
