PS4 took a shyt the night before UC4 drops....

I bit the bullet and just paid for a new one yesterday. I wanna hold on to X1 because it's a damn good TV remote through Kinect
and they may have some exclusives down the line I wanna play.
I noticed that too. The way UC4 is I thought for sure the PS4 would have been blasting like a jet engine but shyt is still quiet

I have a launch PS4 that I brought a 3 year warranty for that expires in November. I've had no issues with it but it does get loud occasionally when playing certain games. Of course it gets quiet once I take the game out but still.

My launch one would sound like a jet engine without a game even loaded....prolly explains why it went to shyt.
But let me tell you this brand new one with the new heatsink is waaaay more quiet and it stays that way even when I'm playing more taxing games like UC4 and Battlefront. Like I said before my launch one was so loud it ruined my experience in some cases. I'm actually kinda glad it broke now

I have a launch ps4, and it's still quiet. but then again, I don't play the hell out of it really like that. I don't even use it to watch netflix and what not.
also, it sits on a table, so it doesn't have a chance to get hot.
