I'm a noob when it comes to tech stuff but I do know that the majority of high end AMD/Nvidia cards usually come in 2gb packages.

No what this means is first starters, they have 5GB cards out there. My 7970 has 3GB GDDR ram on it by itself.

As far as the PS4, before the surprise bump to 8GB of ram, the PS4 was supposed to have 4GB of ram. Killzone for the PS4 was made within the confines of the old specs of the PS4.

It means the Killzone 4 demo was made based upon specs that were lower than what the PS4 was finally revealed to possess. It was made with 4gb of ram in mind instead of the 8 that Sony put in.
