Yeah. I guess your PS4 was set to Auto and it was already set to limited. A while ago the automatic feature on PS4 would set it to "Full" by default which was wrong for many users. Try seeing if it works with "standard" on your TV and full on PS4. What's your make and model?
My TV is a Panasonic TC-L42E5

I think your TV supports Full RGB.
Owner's Manual...
. Selects between standard RGB range (16-235 bits) or non-compliance (0-255 bits). Auto: Switches the RGB range (Standard (16-235)/Nonstandard) depending on the HDMI signal information.
"non-compliance" is RGB Full. You should be fine with that. Try non standard or compliance and then set your PS4 to FULL and you should be able to see all the black boxes(except one or two) if it's all good. You can tweak your picture settings from there however you may.

You can tell the difference i have it set to full, so my videos are in the best quality. But! if you're just a casual player this doesn't matter and i wouldn't care too much about it either lol.

It matters. Even a casual player would notice something is wrong but they just wouldn't know how to phrase it. I looked it up and I found out. It largely depends on the game though. A stealth game like MGS where darkness and shadows are important really highlighted the problem for me.

So im not supposed to see all the blocks? @Fatboi1
If you see all the blocks and your PS4 is set to limted and you're on a TV then you should be good. If you change the pS4 setting to full and the blocks(most of em) are pretty much invisible then your TV doesn't support RGB Full and thus RGB limited is what you should use.

Ok so i left in limited, but the blacks look gray, you say is because of my tv settings having too much brightness right? What am i supposed to do with the contrast

I guess, but i know a lot of people who can't even tell the difference between frames per second. It all depends on the gamer.
