According to Battlefield Hardline game statistics (as tracked by the P-Stats network), the PS4 version had over 4X as man active players than the Xbox One over the past week. That’s a huge difference for a game that was marketed equally on both platforms.

The data shows that there were some 800,000 active Hardline players last week on the PS4, while the Xbox One didn’t even manage to break the 200,000 mark.

In fact, the PS4 has far more active Hardline players than even the PC, which has historically been the most popular platform for the Battlefield series.

You can find a graph below that shows the popularity of Hardline (and BF3 and BF4) across different platforms over the past 7 days.

more ppl own ps4s, news at 11

But Hardline reached the top spot with fewer sales - despite the fact it is also available for PS4 and Xbox One. As expected, Hardline is the best-selling multiplatform launch of 2015 so far, although it has few rivals on that front.

46 per cent of Hardline's physical copies were sold on PS4, 43 per cent on Xbox One,

46% PS4 vs 43% X1 doesnt translate to 4x more. xbox one is used for watching tv. ask court or meach last time they used their xbox for something other than netflix

this chart shows a glaring issues with consoles that ive been trying to explain to yall for years.. console players got that microwave mentality, once the newest game comes out they forget about older games, which in return is why we continue to get raped by gaming companies for yearly releases.

For years companies would do this set up

-release game
-1 1/2 - 2 years later release 1 big ass expansion pack, truly game changing mechanics.
-3 years or so release a "thank you for supporting our game" map pack / extra skins for free
-4-5 years later release sequel to game

now its

-release game
-day 1 DLC
-6 month DLC
-1 year release new game

:stopitslime: truly the biggest fukk shyt ive seen corporations do with my own 2 eyes in my 27 going on 28 years of life.. straight raping consumers.

shyt can still find people to play PC games from the 90s still. Console games have a short life span + they only release a few games a year now. PS4 has been the worst investment ive made in awhile :yeshrug:

Not true, I think more people play bf4 on xb1 than hardline. Game just doesn't fill like a bf game tbh
