Psn trophies fukking suck

I just liked gamerscore cause it's just numbers, you don't get that "oh he`s got 2563 trophies, but 2500 are bronze!"

Also, getting a bronze trophy makes it feel cheap

that's what the levels are for.

Yeah I definitely enjoyed getting an Achievement over getting a Trophy. A Gamer Score definitely looked better on a Profile.

Still getting used to those Trophies I guess.

I have a lil over 30000 of gamerscore achievements. Mostly due to gamefly rentals.

I'm a level 7 in psn. Xbox got it right. Those trophies are horrible.

I prefer the good ol days of bragging about something and never having anything to show for it, you were either full of shyt, trying to prove it in front of your friends, or people believed you outright since it was hard to do (Contra all lives, Double Dragon beat twice; Hard mode, Zelda link to the past; found everything). Now its just bunch of kids showing off trophies that don't even earn them cheats...da fuq?

dems were the 90s...

There was a profound mystique to it all. You either believed it or you didn't or you asked to be showed. "I could beat Mortal Kombat 2 on the hardest diff" was usually followed by "bullshyt, for real?, show me". It came with camaraderie that made gamers bound over Mario RPG or F-Zero.

Trophies and Achievements are cut and paste on Xbox and Playstation for MultiPlat games

I get preferring the score system over the level system but other than that you're doing the same exact shyt, how can one be worse than the other?

Like if you get The Witcher 3 the achievements/trophies are gonna be identical (cept playstation you get a platinum xbox you get 1000/1000) So one's trash because it doesn't have a number score even though it's the same exact shyt?



Anyway I think only playing for trophies/achievements is dumb but I've been guilty of it plenty of times, have a few 1000/1000 and a few platinums. I got like 17,000-18,000 gamerscore on 360 in the span of like 2 years

Level 12 on Playstation with multiple platinums and I only made this account when TLOU dropped. Sometimes that shyt can get addicting, but it's def a waste of time.

Trophies and achievements are for the same accomplishment, it's just one gives you a higher sense of value because you get a "score" vs getting a "trophy"


You could get 10 achievements for example and get 1000 points or get 10 trophies and simply get 10 trophies
