You have to try it breh. I don't see it going hard long term but believe it's legitThe game reviews I saw looked trash. Might be one of those things that you have to actually DO to appreciate cause watching other peoples videos ain't selling me on it at all.
In general I ain't really feeling this product fragmentation that's going on in the console world. I think they should be focusing on making amazing classic games pushing the limits of the current hardware rather then trying look to the future prematurely
There isn't a single video that will ever compare to the actual VR experience. What you'll see in reviews are two main complaints, motion sickness and games being way too short. Motion sickness is a hit and miss situation with VR in general so before purchasing, try to find a demo unit and see how it affects you. As for short games it's true, most are short, but you have a few full games out there like drive club and eve Valkyrie. Length of games should improve quickly so I'm not worried about that. It's not perfect. The graphics leave much to be desired with some of the games but it doesn't take away from the immersion. Overall the experience has been great for me and I actively hated on it until I tried it for myself. The game reviews I saw looked trash. problem is the limitations were hit out the gate. this wasnt like the ps3, where it was unexplored hardware.I think they should be focusing on making amazing classic games pushing the limits of the current hardware rather then trying look to the future prematurely
