Psychology is god in our culture, should it be?

From online counseling, to celebs promoting everyone should have a therapist. Pretty much American culture promotes psychology. Does pop culture have it right? If not, what's the flaw in psychology being the god of culture?

the limitation of psychology are the labels

they cant rule out the act of labeling their patients and ultimately doing damage with the labels despite the logic involved

things like confirmation bias effect the person receiving the therapy and the results become muddied as to where the problem really is coming from

Self-centered ppl make great consumers...particularly of drugs.

Do ppl need it? Hell yea. Problem is; our life state puts us in a state of anxiety and depression most of the time. And that should be the focus as much as, if not more, than talking about our feelings.
