Pulling an All Nighter UNappreciation

Yo, legit today when I was driving home I felt like pulling a side effects (movie) and accelerating in to the car in front of me.

i have a proposal due in 3 hours (didn't start), two presentations and a paper due on wednesday (didn't start). I have three more presentations, a group project, and two more papers due next week (haven't started).

i have an appointment with a psych tomorrow to talk about my (obvious) ADD.

Yeah, I ran into a severe case of writer's block.

I procrastinate on my essays sometimes but I don't wait the night before usually the weekend before. And it's usually short essays.

Waiting the night before to do an 8 page paper is crazy breh.

i didnt know there was a page requirement until i checked the syllabus this morning

plus ive had two other essays and a presentation due all within the last week. school

Unless you're a genius, never wait until the day before a paper is due before starting it. I don't know what to tell you for this situation, but the for the next assignment, you need to have an thorough outline constructed, so whenever you're ready to write your paper, you can go down the list of highlighted points without wasting time on conjuring them. You'll be able to focus on writing.

well i kinda did have an outline i just didnt make it with an 8 pg paper in mind lol.

im bout to just say fukk it and turn it in late altogether tho

ima try and finish it tonight but if im not on page 6 by 3 AM ill take the points off and just resume writing tomorrow

i have a feeling that pages 8/7 will be my works cited. i can do 5 pages in one night easy, but 8?

Update. I finished the first major assignment in an hour. Thank god. Made some bullshyt argument about a novel, pulled some theory, pulled some quotes from some sources and put that garbage together on the page.

Now about to work on that fukking presentation.

What did you say to your doc? They keep trying to put me on depression and anxiety meds instead of listening to me. The only time I get anxious or depressed is the kinda situation I'm in right now because I can't my shyt together. fukk these doctors man.

I've never had to pull an all nighter in college. Because I pace out my work. You need to pace yourself man.

You know approximately how long its going to take to complete something so space it out. I guess I'm not as bad a procrastinator as some folks.

She asked if I was ever depressed or anything but I'm not so then she just gave me some tests and shyt. She said it was kind of obvious just by looking at me lol.

My medicine helps with anxiety as well, like you said not being able to get shyt together was the main cause of it.
