Im outta late 84 (
) so ive watched hoops since 1990 or so.....i dont recall teammates running to a fallen player, as often as they do now, to help a team member up off the floor. It's a saviour on the knees.
Now anytime a player falls they sit straight up, reach out 2 arms and there is 1 teammates per arm to LIFT them up.
Im not saying it didn't happen back in the day, but I remember players getting up themselves more and often they'd be on "all fours" (pause) at some point or in a downward dog in order to PUSH themselves back upright.
I'm not tweaking now am I?
