They both are too blame, people were wide open because the chiefs were stacking the box and Jimmy couldn’t hit them but Kyle had no reason to start passing because the run was still working despite it not getting chuck yards it was still getting three four yards and would have drained the clock. So you can point out the one big time the defense failed in the game but ignore the whole 4th quarter where the offense only gained 37 total yards?

The defense held that chiefs offense to Ten Points, an historical great offense to ten points for three and a half quarters and our offense could only put up 20 points on a rather average defense. They had a ten point cushion until halfway through the fourth where our offense was constantly putting them on the field because they did absolutely nothing. Complimentary football is a thing you know.

That can be said for the offense who did not carry its weight. The defense put the offense is perfect position to close the game out after that pick and gave the offense another chance when Jimmy missed an open sanders.

I don’t get how you can look at an A- to a B+ performance at worse from the defense and complain but ignore the clear F performance by the offense and say will the defense should of done more when the offense needed to put up some damn points.

The offense failed us and continues to fail us in big moments, that is why your faith in Jimmy makes no sense unless you are just happy to be there instead of winning a championship.

LOL the defense held it down for like three and a half quarters against arguably the best qb in football, best offense in football and best coach in football at the time.

When the offense couldn't do jack shyt and crossed the midfield like once in the fourth, of course the defense got gassed eventually.

I think we can start sluggish on offense. I can see this offense being chunk yards or bust to start off before it gels together. Kinda like the Texans game last year. More splash plays from Trey but also worse at moving the chains.
