I re-watched Halloween Havoc 97 after all these years and started remembering all of these piff cruiserweights I liked.

Teach me something about Yuji Nagata and Gedo beyond their WCW careers.

Well first let me start off by saying that New Japan has a habit of sending stars over to europe and North America for what they call "learning excursions" to learn other styles. Generally after the person comes back to Japan a huge star. Muta being the most notable example of this practice. This was Nagata's.

Now Nagata was never exciting to me but hes a good wrestler. He had his main event run and is now currently a veteran worker witg younger talent.

Gedo is the long time partner of Jado hailing from promotions like W*ng, FMW and WAR. He was a member of Team No Respect which was basically a Japanese D-Generation X (:rambo:) Currently and last I checked, he was head booker of New Japan Pro Wrestling with Jado.

Sorry no piff matches though im at work :yeshrug: Hope that helps a bit.
