I think it stems from envy. He started taking shots at Wayne around the time a lot of people were calling Wayne the best in the game. Has called him a swagger jacker, fake thug, sent a bunch of sublims, dissed him in interviews, etc.

I thought it was p*ssy that when Wayne finally paid attention and calls him out by name (exact quote "fukk Pusha T"), he didn't respond. Even if the diss was wack, you been on this nikka dikk for 10 years now you have a perfect opportunity to lyrically destroy the biggest rapper in the game and you don't take the shot? Smh.

I would blame Jay-Z for a lot of this passive-aggressive subliminal shyt rappers be on nowadays but shyt..he at least called names in his prime (Nas, Mobb Deep, 50 Cent, Jaz-O, etc.)
No it started because Wayne started stealing The Clipse's style while they were going thru label limbo. Wayne went from rhymes about ballin and wearing army fatigues and soulja rags to rapping about flipping coke and wear A Bathing Ape all the time.

The Clipse, Pusha especially; expressed displeasure with this because he was taking credit for their style and image while they couldn't even release albums because of label interference. This isn't some new beef due to jealousy. Pusha been dissin Wayne since 2005 way before Wayne became as famous as he is now

Pharmaceuticals brought me charm like the jewellers' jewels
Squares of ice shed light like the Rubix cube;
I get it mixed up, red with the blues;

Now she all mixed up, admiring the hues
Four years later, nikkas admiring the shoes
BAPE, you're late; we call you Tokyo buffoons

The stylish admire us, look at how we groove
Keep running to SoHo, them exclusives in my room

nikkas is biters, we let you slide with your writings
We knew that cocaine talk was not like you!
But who goes as far as trying to dress like him?

One sequined glove could never make you Michael!
I moonwalk over tracks and make nikkas spiteful
But never hear a word cuz them nikkas know;
That my flow so viper and if Pusha go psycho

He'll séance that pen and pull your spirit up out ya!

Pusha actin' like "What Happened To That Boy?" didn't get them over, though.

Ungrateful-ass nikka, he was even on some humble shyt in the shyt before the video.
It was probably one of their songs that simply didn't make on to Lord Willn'.

That song helped Birdman just as much if not more than it did The Clipse.

One of the oldest tricks in the book. Expose young impressionable people to a luxurious lifestyle that they'll never achieve and make them feel a part of while the whole time they publishing is being taken and they're broke. Baby been doing this shyt since the early 90s and nikkas still aint learned. Hell he even "allegedly" had one of his own artist killed back then and more than likely had something to do with attempting to do the same to Wayne. I know Pusha is everyone's favorite anti-Drake rapper but he really needs to chill on the tough talk. Baby is not one of these tough talking rappers who won't have you touched for talking tough and spitting cute dopeman fairytales.

That definitely is true but at the same time that isn't uncommon. All of em, whether it's a Lyor, a Iovine etc play that same book for mostly masters &/or publishing.
