a paper on Leopold Senghor and Negritude (9/20 pages done)
a reflection/assessment of a class i taught (0-8 pages done)

all due before 3pm; i been working all day yesterday, and before that i was handling other schoolwork/paperwork

its hard to do a1 work on shyt that doesnt inspire you

them white students be getting all kinds of extensions, taking incompletes on classes, but i aint going out like that....
smoking a j now before i have to go back to work.

i just feel pissed to have to put so much work into something that will literally have no relavance in a month.

When I was in college and I procrastinated I went to bed and woke up early especially for test cause to me it's better to do that sort of thing rested then stay up all night delirious you're more prone to grammatical errors and jibberish ... At least if the paper ain't all that your not loosing points for grammatical errors and dumb shyt

I tended to work well u der pressure the sense of urgency makes me focus more ...

The irony is my response is full of errors I'm on an iPad fukk it

A good writing pace for me usually is about a page an hour. Takes me 15 minutes to figure out what imma say. Then another 15 minutes writing the page. Then 15 minutes rewriting it. Then I take a 15 minute break.

If I were you I would just do stream of conscience type writing for that reflection/assessment paper. Just start writing whatever comes to your mind regarding the topic with no filter and no rewrites, just to get the shyt done. My paper would come out soundin like a young thug verse, including the adlibs.

Just write ...everything that comes To your mind get in thr zone and write then go back and fix/rewrite / re-organize

boy, last minute panic is when I do my best work. Last week I had a 10 page paper due that I put off for a week. the night before it was due I went through the motions of:

"Aight, 10 page paper? 8 hours? Challenge accepted!"

to

"aight man, I gotta buckle down, start doing a page in 30 minutes...I can do this..."
