So I decided not to bite on that Camaro at Ed Napleton. My boy was tryna line his pockets talmbout they can't move from 30k :camby: plus the backup cam on a 12 is like a 3 inch screen in the rear view mirror, where as '13 and up got a big screen on the radio it shows up on.

So I consult you brehs for help. I want a '13 or newer (:heh:) Camaro SS for 30k OUT THE DOOR.

I found a '13 Camaro SS warranted for 7 years/100,000 miles and it only he 6,000 miles on it but he wanted 33k out the door. With my credit score being 651 :scusthov: I can't afford that shyt.

So brehs. I live in Chicago, but I'm willing to drive up to 100 miles for the best deal. I got 4k down and I want to finance 25k. Nevermind the neglected 1k that's missing from my math, just help me out heRe. This will be my first time buying a new (ish) car.

I will consider other muscle cars (except a Charger, 4 door muscle car?? :snoop:) but it has to have a V8 with at least 400 horses. Also, newer than 2011. Honestly though, my heart is set on a Camaro, so let's get it done.

Drinks on me if a breh puts me in my new stuntmobile:obama:

I've looked... I gotta be out the door at 30k or my payments gonna be higher than 500/mo and they can't work the numbers for me on a new car.

Red flags everywhere, like big hoop earrings on a single woman wearing leopard-print pants.
Your credit score is low and you are looking at adding a pretty big loan to your credit. The salesman was playing your balls like a spanish guitar. Fortunately, you walked away.

You want to finance $25,000?
1. Don't go through the dealership financing. That's like showing your cards at a poker game. They know what you are capable of spending so they are less likely to haggle down on the final selling price.
2. Get your financing through a credit union. Then, go to the dealership and haggle down. If they don't like it, walk.
3. What's your current net income? Or how much do you have net (after tax income) after paying your monthly expenses like rent, utilities, cell phone, whatever. If your monthly car payment equals or is greater than a monthly car payment, you are cruising for a bruising (i.e. Floyd Mayweather direct fist punch to your nuts). Never bank on possible raises or magical windfalls (like a lottery ticket or sports betting win) to cover the difference, like your missing $1,000 diff. That alone is a red flag. Where's that coming from?

If you determine that you cannot afford a $25,000 loan, then go lower. There is no need to get in deep debt for a car.

man they triyng to go in y'all pockets in the chi. You shouldn't be paying more than 27 gs on a used SS. IMO I would look at a 1SS

for just the car or out the door? bettenhausen has a 13 with only 6K miles...how used is a car under 7000 miles, I mean really??

Tuesday is my birthday brehs. I took you guys advice and got financed on my own (dealer banks will definitely help them rape you) and got approved at 2.8% APR. Turns out Equifax has my credit score at 770, so I have no idea why Ed Napleton had me at 651. At any rate, if everybody agrees with me that this one at bettenhausen is a good buy, I will be purchasing Tuesday. Happy birthday to me!

Thanks for the help guys, I will update thread with pics

They lied to you so they could put down a higher interest rate. AND there is nothing illegal about that. That's why. Higher interest rate equals more money in their pockets.

$30,700 for a 2013 Chevy Camaro SS?
