Not mad by this loss at all. We lost by 10, in a game that Melo shot 4-17. Rookies looked solid, Calderon didn't flat out suck like past games, and Bench Mob coming in strong.

Melo has fared alright, against Kawhi... but still scored BELOW his career averages. And it was obvious EARLY tonight that Melo was not going to be able to get decent looks. Kawhi is longer, stronger, and quicker. He has all of the advantages, and Melo is getting worse, not better. No shame in that, just age and reality. The knicks should have had him off the ball, and tried to free him up with screens and kickouts to get a rhythm. Instead they tried to iso, and he got swallowed up.

No worries, you don't face Kawhi Leonard every night, thank god.



The bigger issue here is KP. If Melo hurt KP, he just set that franchise back with that dumbass desperation shot attempt.

Nah Kwai is legit defensive monster now and his offense has improved a lot. Melo can still get his but he has to be smarter on how he does it having some picks could've helped him too to free him up.

Melo is averaging less than 20ppg vs Kawhi now for his career, the fukk are you talking about? There isn't a dude in the league that Kawhi can't guard, he's even held Melo to a 9 pt game in which Melo played 40 minutes.
