Also - I said this in the other thread -- but we need to stop pretending that Kawhi didn't eat Melo's lunch last night. It's unbecoming, and makes the whole base look like we didn't even watch the game.

There was help defense, yes. But there is SUPPOSED to be help defense, that is how basketball works. Kawhi made it hard for melo to get the the hoop, made it hard for him to get clean jumpers, altered and blocked his shyt.

That's okay. Sometimes, you get got. Please stop with the bizarro-world game recaps.

No one said Melo was a scrub...Simply Kawhi had him this night...He literally harassed him from the point of attack...It just want melo's night:yeshrug:

Him blowing by Diaw isn't what the pic is about and you know it. :mjlol: The pic is 1 example of the help defense that 'Melo faced all night when he got by defenders. Another example is sending him to Duncan. Kawhi did not have him that night. Help defense and his knee had him. Diaw even being on him is an example of them defending him as a team, trying to show him different looks by putting different defenders on him. Aldridge was even trying to guard him at 1 point. Nice try. :russ:

P.S. - He was great in 3 preseason games, trash 2 preseason games later, trash 2 regular season games, great 1 regular season game, then trash again the next regular season with no lift and struggle finishes at the rim. Ain't no "it wasn't his night". He has no lift. None.
