Who has to come thru this season and actually prove themselves, live up to the hype etc...

Tony Romo.The stats are nice but he has to prove he can win when it matters.

Mark Ingram. I know he sharing carries and he showed improvement when Cromer moved back to oline coach but c'mon dog need better production out of you. You were a 1st rounder dammit

Who else need to step it up this season.

Matt Ryan.

In what way?

@Real, you're right :mjpls:

07:10 AM ET 07.31 | When it comes to assessing Cam Newton,Panthers GM Dave Gettleman looks at the bottom line. Newton has thrown for more yards than any quarterback in NFL history in his first two seasons, but has yet to lead the Panthers to a winning season. "Cam has had the best two years of any rookie quarterback in NFL history. And everybody talks about the other young (quarterbacks)," Gettleman said at the Panthers' training camp. "What he's done has been completely lost in the sauce because of the elephant in the room -- the 13-19 record. I'm a big believer in letting nature take its course. Things will happen naturally." Gettleman was asked whether Newton was the quarterback to build around. After a pregnant, seven-second pause, Gettleman said: "Yes, he is. But now it's time to win."

You're GM don't sound overly confident in Scam homie :mjpls:

In what way?

There’s a growing perception out there that coach Mike Smith and Ryan don’t have what it takes to win it all.

Is that fair?

Maybe not, but that view isn’t going to change until, or unless, the Falcons win a Super Bowl.

Is that perception accurate?

I don’t think so.
