If people really did care all games would be 1080p 60fps

Wrong...if consoles really could handle it then all games would be 1080p 60fps...if the developers were a lil more creative in art style and direction it would be easier to pull off too...all in all they want the games to have all the bells and whistles and they are willing to sacrifice resolution and performance for it....is what it is...

I'm not trying to argue anything and it is simple. The devs that decide to make a 1080p 60fps game make them. The ones that choose not to dont.

Lol..lemme make this clear for u...people expected high end graphics with the bells and whistles AND 1080p 60fps...they didn't expect to have to choose between 1 and the other due to the lack of power the consoles possess...

There's games with high end graphics and still running at 1080p 60fps on consoles.

If people expected 1080p and no sacrifices then they don't really understand how this shyt works, which leads back to my original statement.
