I’m not concerned with who people sleep with. It just trips me out when they provide these asinine reasons for why. Jodie Turner-Smith said the reason she prefers white men over black men is because white men were the first to make her feel beautiful. It’s no one’s responsibility to make you feel good about yourself but you. Having said that, I find it interesting that it was a black man (Pharrell) who told her that she was so beautiful she should move to LA and model. That decision triggered a chain of career defining events that got her plenty modeling, music videos, and acting gigs, which ultimately put her in a position to meet her white husband so he could make her feel beautiful.
