The “run for president” blueprint is that you endorse candidates who are going to win during a wave election, then take credit for something that was going to happen anyway. Traditional doesn’t mean she stayed home her whole life. It means she markets herself as embodying traditional values. Politics is performance. Candidates run on identity just as much as policy.
