There's no way in hell Nintendo is gonna make one of their established characters gay. Nintendo has two tranny characters that I know of: Birdo and Vivian from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
i thought this was cleared up & birdo is a female who shoots her eggs, in all the other games i played birdos a female.... i dont know vivian so no comment.....
For the US releases they removed the references to the characters being trannies, but the Japanese Super Mario 2 manual says that Birdo is a boy who thinks he's a girl. And they say that Vivian is a tranny in the actual game of Paper Mario, but those parts of the story got altered for the US release.
