How come Nas didn't make it on the LP? I prefer the Jay version as it fits more better..IMO.
But Nas did rip his verse for what it's worth.

Who ghostwrote Shaq's verse? Tariq?

The original version is called No Love Lost and it was Shaq, feat Lord Tariq, Nas and Jay-Z. Nas verse prob didn't make the album due to contractual reasons, as was the case every time a Nas verse was missing from an album back then. The original version also has a different Lord Tariq verse in which he only talks about coke.

Shaq wrote his own verse; he was a capable spitter.
