question about making gifs

Ive been using photoshop since PS 7 waaay back when they had imageready. now they have CC and have taken imageready out. I want to start making gifs again, but the thing is, I noticed something changed. check it out.

Lets say I put a smile like dahell on the first frame. obv this will put da hell on all the frames, which is fine, however, when I move dahell in frame 2, frame 3 puts dahell back where frame 1 was.

it wasnt like that in imageready, where, where ever you placed the smilie in the frame, it carried over the placement to the next frame. what gives?

all in the keyframes have been implemented.

I couldn't figure this shyt out either.. I ended up just duplicating the smilie for each frame and dragging the old one out if that makes sense.

was time consuming as fukk, my eyes were fukking stinging after doing that one..

damn that must have taken forever. just use the keyframes, I made my gif in 5 min. .

What I did was shrinked the size to smiley size and erased the background so that it will actual look just like but animated. I just didn't know if there was a quicker or easy way to do it other than editing every single frame
