Quick question about Red and Meth .. and this aint no groupie shyt..

I was listening to some recenctly and it occured to me or so I have a question

Was Red and Meth tight before Def Jam did the Month of the Man promos... they did nothing together and wasnt seen together until Def JAm did that promo with them both releasing ablume the same month..
Did def jam unknowingly put a pair of best friends together?
