Question about search

I'm trying to search "Mac dre" used quotes and everything, even specified to search threads/posts and I'm still getting the message the word you're using are too short/common etc. what's up with that? Shouldn't use of quotes make it search as a phrase? How are you supposed to search short names and shyt like that? Is there a setting to make it search words in quotes a phrase?
