question/debate on Goldberg

After watching part of wrestling for the first time in months, really since Sting lost at night of champions. Anyways, long story short,my co-workers are heavy wrestling fans so we got into the debate on how would Goldberg do in present wrestling times. I knew he went off script from time to time and i don't think he and vince/hhh would be able to co-exist. they pointed out that the push he got back then wouldn't happen right now and most likely be saved for ppv and wm. so i'm asking would goldberg dominate today's wwe?

The WWE don't let anyone run wild like that except Cena from.Sept 06-Oct 07 when he finally got injured.

Taker was undefeated for a year too but Hogan got the win right back at Tuesday in TX.

maybe cause its the era i grew up watching but i would love to see goldberg destroy cena, roman,and so on.

c'mon now we all knew goldberg was a loose cannon i just don't think he'd play along with the cena storyline

Only if he starts up from the bottom like he did in WCW. They made it credible by feeding him guys on the lower card and gradually built him up to the bigger names. It could work if he started in NXT.

Only thing is Vince would probably blow it too early and have him cutting promos and shyt during the early stages of the streak ruining the mystique

Build him up for that loss to Cena and depush after mania.

Then he would get "Stone Cold" chants from Mark crowds who say he can't work or his gimmick is unbelievable or too cartoony.

Ryback was fine until they felt the need to feed him to CM Punk.

I think Goldberg worked because his character was built by another wrestler (Kevin Sullivan) and not what the boss wanted

thats what i meant by him >cena he has to be in the top 5/10 strongest wrestlers of all time. i may be wrong
