serious question, no :troll:

What are your thoughts on the creation of the universe/life?

Obviously no one has the right answer, but whats your take?

Myself, I wouldn't call myself religious in that I don't but into any organized religion, but I can't say that I don't believe in some sort of higher power that's responsible for our existence :manny:

edit: :pachaha: @ :troll: I was expecting the OG troll face

For me I guess the Big Bang or whatever theory is prevalent at the moment.:manny:

A meteor landed in the ocean and over the course of millions of years when the ocean was like the fluid in a womans womb, goop gestated and become something that was able to crawl out of the ocean and reproduce somehow with other species that were just like it to create a new species that walked on land in the form of monkeys. Mlllions of years of being a monkey later, here we are, posting on the internet.

right, I meant your take about the existence of the universe, friend, not life on earth, friend.

That's a pretty vague question.

But I guess the answer is basically "I don't know, and since I don't believe religious people have cognitive abilities I don't, they don't know either."

O, impossible to fathom. If the big bang theory is true and there is a singular point for the existence of our universe, what is beyond that, in the dark void of nothingness, another universe? Ancient demonic beasts? Heaven? A pit that falls into a wormhole of universe warping energies that will slice the nucleus of your atoms into 1 billionth pieces?

How many universes have to find before you realize you need the power of God to traverse this realm and obtain the answers you require. We in our current form will never know and the capabilities to accomplish these feats are beyond the life of the planet earth. Do you need to die to find the answers? We dont even know whats in our galaxy, our galaxy aggin, let alone the universe that has billions of galaxies. Our intelligence is so feeble. Wow.

I don't know if I really follow your question, but I would say the Big Bang is the best scientific model or explanation for the origins of our universe.

The correct answer is we don't currently know. No one does. At least atheists are honest about this point. But just because there is a gap in our understanding of the origin of the universe, is no reason to invent a God to fill that gap especially providing any evidence. There several hypothesis that essentially say the universe is eternal and seems most plausible explanation to me. The problem is we don't have the mathematical tools to explain what happened prior to the big bang because physical laws as we know them, break down the closer you get to the moment of the big bang.

I'm with this. Some of the more recent discoveries in Quantum Mechanics are making me question damn near everything.
