What kinda film/story genre is Predator: Badlands referencing?

• Alien = Haunted house movie .....in space

• Captain America 2 winter soldier = Political thriller movie .....with superhero's
• Predator Badlands = (insert genre here) .....in space

It kinda feels like a Riddikk type movie in some aspects but that's not specific enough in terms of genre.
I wouldn't call it a "space opera" either.

I'm leaning towards a jungle adventure movie ......in space
