How could anyone be a fan of Joe Budden Music?
I asked a genuine question
Joe Budden has unequivocally rapped over the worse beats with the worse mixing in Hiphop history
He also has the worse some of worse hooks in Hiphop
He also has the some of the most limited subjected matter in history
He has one of the worse voices in Hiphop
Y'all like him because he has some slick lines here and there?
Only thing I agree with here is the horrible mixing.
Just seemed like the usual shyt you be on sometimes, but if that was a genuine question then lemme answer you properly.
He's rapped over some trash beats, and some of his mixing especially in the earlier days was horrendous, but a lot of his production imo is dope and suited pretty well for his content. His last album thanks to Araab was one of the best produced albums of last year imo.
Again, he's had wack hooks, but also great ones, he's got better with this through the years
Limited subject matter? Cut it out, damn near all of his projects are filled with content top to bottom. You saying that tells me there's a good chance you have never really listened to him like that anyway.
I can understand people not being able to get on with listening to him because of his voice, like Banks or Kendrick.
He has slick lines as in he has some of the nicest Bars, metaphors and wordplay Iv heard, along with the fact he's pretty fukking talented at painting a picture through his lyrics.

His mixing can be trash, but he's a dope rapper. Haven't really listened to anything since Escape Room or OLS3. Still in the depressed phase.
his mixing since MM4 has improved a lot compared to 04-09 era

it's kinda ironic that we're in The Booth and these people questioning his skill set or the amount of legends he's worked with, they just don't like him on a personal level. either that or they must be still mad about the situation with Drake.
