Do yall agree with this statement below? If not, would you rather have a man with all of those traits but no financial rewards for it or a man with money but none of those traits?

Hmm. There are men who have those traits, but are just starting out and I wouldnt expect him to be well off and established just yet, regardless of how educated and ambitious he is. So it would depend on their situation since getting to wealth comes easy for some, but for most it takes time.

Or maybe Whitley didnt even mean poor in terms of money

Nothing is guaranteed, so even if you have find a man attractive b/c he has all of these traits, it's still statistically unlikely he becomes wealthy. Would you be willing to stick it out and take a chance on him bringing you a good life or would you rather have a man who was born into wealth, can provide you whatever you need, but lacks ambition?

"A noble man compares and estimates himself by an idea which is higher than himself; and a mean man, by one lower than himself. The one produces aspiration; the other ambition, which is the way in which a vulgar man aspires."

The obtainment of wealth is about making sound financial decisions. ANYONE is capable of that. If thats what they desire.

I wouldn't date someone who views wealth negatively or is looking to get rich quick. Most likely that guy will possess some or all of those qualities.
