I'm in NYC too.

Do any of you know where I can find a good art store or print shop that will have better pricing for prints than Fed-ex/Kinkos? I'm not looking for copies of photos, but instead copies of illustrations on paper that have been colored by water color. Also, if the place has a scanner on-site that is better than a home scanner, please let me know. Fed-Ex/Kinkos explained to me that their scanner is not any better than a good home scanner. The artwork is mostly 8x11. I'm looking for some place in Queens, Manhattan, or Brooklyn. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There's a lot of places in chelsea that would help you. They have a huge art scene I'm not sure in particular but anywhere from 18 to 28 street avenues 8 to 11 your sure to find something

Go to 5th street near Queens and take a left on 6th street. Proceed down 7th street and go to Jamaica avenue. Hop on the subway and you'll see some guys wearing Yankee hats. Talk to the Puerto Rican guy and there'll be an art store on 8th street.

Got some questions for ya breh... :patrice:

What quality of paper are you looking to put your prints on? Does it matter?
What time do you need them by? In terms of turnaround.
How many prints do you need?
How much are you looking to spend?

I work with getting stuff printed as well (mainly custom screenprints)

a place in Manhattan, especially Chelsea area, will be much more expensive. BK has a huge art scene for this type of stuff, don't know any off hand though

Damn BasedFather, at least your avi looks nice

1984, my girl does some drawings on sketchbook paper and them watercolors them. She also make collages. She is trying to sell some, but not sell any originals. Therefore she would like to make high quality copies. At least better than the ones in a regular stationary store or Fed-Ex. She wouldn't need any prints in the sense of cutting woodblocks or screen prints at the moment. Any place you can recommend though would be appreciated. Please let me know.

Everyone else, what's a good quality spot in BK?
