Question: How much data do you actually use on your cellphone?

So I have a basic phone (AT&T gophone (no contract)). Currently only pay $25 a month for 250 minutes (nationwide) and unlimited text (national and international). Yeah, I know...I'm . But I really had no reason to upgrade. I don't really call people that much. But now finally looking to get a smartphone since there are so many uses and it's just more convenient.

I was reading an article that said the average data used is 1.5 GB per month.

How much data do you all have on your phones and how much of it do you actually use?

I have 20gb and use prolly 16 a month, but I work for a cell carrier and have a discount/know how to not use it when I don't want to.

2gb is an appropriate plan size for someone first starting with a smartphone.

Also if it's your first one and cost is a big concern I'd prolly recommend a Samsung j3 or if you wanna get pricier a moto z play or oneplus 3t

I used 2GB in the last 30 days and I stay on my phone. Unless you plan on streaming Netflix all day you shouldn't go over that. I would recommend going on amazon and getting a Nexus 6, 6p or 5x.

I used 30mb this month and that's average for me. check out ting.com, i gyot my first cell from them this year and they have very affordable plans.

Id say get 10 gb per line on ur plan...most times ur on wifi id assume...i use alot at my gym cause they just got wifi, and usually stream the music im listening too...also if u go on bacation and there isnt wifi everywhere, ur gonna burn through it.

I had 15, used about 10 or 11 a month... switched to unlimited...now I'm racking up like 50gb... I'm gluttonous out chere with the data...basically just watch video all day whenever I'm in the whip... it's to manage if you're always on wifi ... all AT&T plans are technically unlimited now, they just throttle you to 2g if u go over...I'd say start st 3gb and go up from there if u need it
