Just seeing if anyone here has any good insight into this.

I'm trying to get a GPS chip built into my gun safe. So if my safe is ever stolen, I can track it kind of like LoJack.

My questions are:

What's the best GPS chip for something like this? I obviously don't plan on getting robbed so I don't have a time frame of when I would actually use the chip.

Do they run on batteries? How long do they last? Is there a way around using batteries so I don't have to ever worry about the system?

Big thanks if anyone has answers.
