The thing to me is women are so fickle and change like the wind.

She can love you today and be willing to spend the rest of her life with you and then tomorrow say it's over and never talk to you again.

I feel this.

I'll never have the necessary amount of trust and faith in a woman's emotions to ever get married. I don't see it :francis:

For me it's just that the relationship between man and woman is and has always been extremely inequitable.

Like a husband is expected to buy his wife a house and be willing to throw away his life for hers at the drop of a hat, all while spending the rest of his life listening to her complain. All a woman is expected to have is a vagina and a pulse, and a man is supposed to be enamoured to simply be in her presence. Some would even say that a wife is expected to be a thorn in her husband's side.

Adding to that, the fact that he had to buy her an expensive ass piece of carbon that does nothing, JUST to put himself in a position to ASK if he could bear all her problems and handle all her financial needs and wants.... forever... man the whole thing just has me looking at marriage like, "Who came up with this?"

So when you realize that, you realize that the only real reason for marriage is to raise kids, because what man in their right mind would sign up for the above otherwise?

I think this depends more on the partner you choose. There are plenty of financially successful women that want to build with a man rather than just being taken care of by him.

Marriage is statistically one of the easiest ways to wealth build because both people can share expenses and pour more into assets.

Our community probably needs high quality functional marriages more than any other.
